On June 4, as part of Vitro’s commitment to driving the growth, development, and strengthening of female talent, the kickoff session of the EmpowerHer program was held. This initiative is designed to inspire women to lead their careers with purpose and strengthen their overall growth.
During the event, leaders such as Alfonso Gómez Tamez, Chief Human Resources and Transformation Officer, shared messages highlighting the importance of promoting women’s development within the organization, as well as recognizing the participants for being part of this first generation.
Additionally, the Talent Planning and Vitro University teams presented the program structure and the learning plan that participants will follow over the next 10 months.
The program was designed so that, through experiences such as courses at Vitro University, practical exercises, and conferences, participants will develop key tools to face professional and personal challenges, while also building meaningful connections to support them along their journey.
This first cohort, made up of employees from Mexico and the United States, marks the beginning of a strategic initiative aimed at continuing to grow and incorporating more participants in the future.
With EmpowerHer, at Vitro we take another step toward building an environment where talent grows, strengthens, and leads with purpose.
